About me
Hi, this is a low maintenance blog. There’s probably not much, but I’m a very busy person. My name’s Lucas Vieites and I have been working in IT for lots of years. At my current position I’m called a “Linux Expert” but I think that’s a bit of an exaggeration.
My main fields of work are: web development (on the LAMP platform), Linux system administration and translation (English to Spanish) of software and documentation (mainly Gnome, OpenOffice.org, and Java).
One of the translation projects I’ve started recently is The Java Tutorials (Tutoriales de Java). It’s a gigantic task, but I think it’s worth it.
